Summer

All-day enrichment for nine weeks of summer fun!

Thank you for another fantastic Summer, Vashon Kids families! We plan to share next summer’s details by late winter.

Current & Returning Families

We understand continuity of care is critical
to our year-round families! To support this, children attending the current school year & last summer’s attendees receive priority registration opportunity.

When you receive your reservation invitation by email, don’t delay reservation, or your spots could become unavailable.

If notified that your reservation is a waitlist position, please hang in there, especially if it’s still early in the year! We regularly fill openings that would have gone to folks who opted out of early waitlist positions - being waitlisted in February isn’t as grim as it sounds!

Verano

¡Enriquecimiento todo el día durante 9 semanas de diversión veraniega!

¡Gracias familias por otro verano fantástico! Esperamos compartir los detalles del próximo verano a finales de invierno.

Familias actuales y regresan:

¡Entendemos que la continuidad del cuidado es fundamental para familias que participan todo el año! Los niñes que participen durante el año escolar tendrán prioridad para el verano.

Cuando reciba la invitación por correo electrónico para reservar plaza para su hijes, no demore en solicitarla, ¡ya que podrían agotarse!

Si recibes una notificación de que estás en la lista de espera, ¡ten paciencia!, sobre si aún es principio. Regularmente cubrimos las plazas que habrían sido para quienes se retiraron de la lista de espera; ¡la lista en febrero no es tan malo como parece!

About

Quality childcare provides opportunities and experiences to support the physical, intellectual & socioemotional growth of youth.

Guided by this knowledge, Vashon Kids has cultivated nurturing staff & creative programming to help our community’s children thrive since 1995

We strive to meet the developmental & individual needs of each child through healthy play & celebration of differences, guiding peaceful conflict resolution & promoting the dignity of all.

Our academic enrichment and club activities center art, sciences, forest play, literacy, and sports

We offer scheduled & drop-in before-and-after school enrichment, plus all-day summer programming. Breakfast and snacks provided.

We accept state (DCYF) and county (BSK) subsidies, and thanks to Island donors are able to subsidize those in need.

Located at Chautauqua Elementary School, we are open to all children ages 5-12.

Vashon Kids cree que el cuidado infantil de calidad brinda oportunidades y experiencias que apoyan el crecimiento físico, intelectual y socioemocional.

Nos esforzamos para satisfacer las necesidades de desarrollo de cada grupo de edad, así como las necesidades y el temperamentos individual.

Desde 1995, el atento personal de Vashon Kids ofrece una programación creativa que fomenta el desarrollo personal único de su hijes.

Con el juego saludable y celebración de las diferencias, guiamos la resolución pacífica de conflictos y promovemos la dignidad de todos.

Nuestras actividades académicas, de enriquecimiento y de clubes se centran en el arte, las ciencias, el juego en el bosque, la lectoescritura y los deportes. Ofrecemos horarios antes y después de la escuela y planes periódicos, además de programación de verano de todo el día.

Desayuno y meriendas disponibles. Aceptamos el subsidio estatal del DCYF y, gracias a los donantes, podemos subsidiar a quienes lo necesitan.
