Protective Parenting: Teaching Consent As A Life Skill

Learn practical and age-appropriate ways to make respect and consent part of your family life.  We'll explore how consent education serves to protect children from potential harm while laying the foundation for healthy relationships throughout their lives.  Together we will discover simple, everyday opportunities to reinforce body autonomy, practice respectful communication, and model consent.

Join Co-op Parent Educator Tami Brockway Joyce for a lively discussion about how to help your child develop strong personal boundaries, recognize warning signs, and cultivate the social skills they'll need for positive friendships now and respectful relationships of all types in the future.
